You can install split ACs on any wall in your home while window ACs require casement windows. In today’s scenario, most of the home structures are leaving the window setup. LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd has also reduced the production of window AC by 10%. 

Noise Level 

Consumers prefer best split air conditioners over the window as these are less noisy and beautiful in design. 

Most of the apartments have been built along with the conduits required for the split units. (here, it is noted that people with older home structures still prefer window AC units in order to avoid installation work). 

People who live in a rented house also prefer window units as these are easier for the shifting purpose (when you need to move from house to house).
